Our goal is to make spring day camp affordable for every family. Because every kid deserves to experience summer camp.
That’s why we offer an option to pay by the day. Sending a child to day camp for a whole week can become expensive for some families, so we offer a 2 to 5 day spring camp experience.

Josh Powell Camp is excited to welcome children aged 5-10. We offer a unique outdoor-focused day camp experience, and it’s also a perfect place for first-time campers to build their confidence!.

We are located in Acworth, GA, near Kennesaw State College and just inside the Cherokee County line. Josh Powell Camp offers local bus pick-ups for your campers at several nearby locations, or you can drop them off at camp each morning. Each staff member and counselor has been trained and passed a thorough background check. We intentionally keep a high counselor-to-child ratio, making sure that our campers are well supervised and can have the happiest, healthiest camp experience possible.

Absolutely! You can text the camp office at (678) 369-0780 to schedule a tour of the facilities so that you can see exactly what your child will be doing every day at camp. Tours are closed on weekends during May, as we are fully focused on preparing camp for incoming students.
